Reddie & Grose invites you to an online panel discussion hosted by our patent attorney experts from across the technology spectrum. The panel discussion will cover key aspects of patent enforcement and revocation at the UPC, and particularly how the UPC may be leveraged by companies in three key technology sectors. The panel will consider how experience of EPO opposition proceedings will help parties navigate the UPC, and consider how both common law and civil law will play key roles in the new system.

The panel will be chaired by Zack Mummery and include partners Dr Paul LoustalanDr Simon Lud and Robin Ellis.

The panel discussion will aim to cover:

  • an overview of revocation actions at the UPC and how EPO case law and opposition procedure may influence the UPC;
  • how the UPC might be used by the life sciences, telecommunications and automotive sectors;
  • the critical role that European patent attorneys will play in UPC litigation.
