
Oran is a UK Patent Attorney with experience across the electrical and mechanical fields, with a particular emphasis on AI and software-related subject matter.
Oran has worked with a wide range of clients including sole inventors, SMEs and multinational companies and particularly enjoys the process of tackling new concepts and technologies. He has particular experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications relating to telecommunications (including 3GPP technologies), broadcasting, medical devices, cybersecurity, consumer electronics, image processing, and autonomous vehicles. Oran has also advised on a number of patent applications relating to artificial intelligence and machine learning subject matter.
Oran also has an interest in quantum technologies and particularly quantum computing, having undertaken a laboratory placement studying the Josephson effect in superfluid helium and assessing the feasibility of creating a superfluid analogue of the superconducting qubit cooper pair box for use in quantum computing.
Before joining Reddie & Grose in 2022, Oran completed a Master’s in Physics in which he worked on building electronics for use at the Extreme Light Infrastructure facility in the Czech Republic.
In his spare time, Oran enjoys singing, going to concerts, and trying new food (the spicier, the better).
