Felix Hannam is a European Patent Attorney handling patent work in the life sciences sector and is a fluent German speaker.

He has worked with a wide range of clients including sole inventors, SMEs and multinational companies and has particular experience in prosecuting and drafting in the pharmaceuticals and renewable energy sector.

Felix joined Reddie & Grose in 2022 having completed a MSc in Biomedical Sciences Research and a BSc in Biomedical Sciences, both at the University of Bristol.

Felix’s masters research project involved investigating the role of p21-activated kinases in prostate cancer initiation as well as their inhibition, with a number of interesting findings including a potential second medical use for a drug previously used in combination therapy targeting ovarian and thyroid cancer.

Prior to starting at Reddie & Grose, he worked in industry at the Wellcome Sanger Institute researching physiologically relevant tumour models to further cancer research.

This has led to a particular interest in patent work involving cancer therapeutics.

At Reddie & Grose, Felix is an active member of the Sustainable Materials group.

In his spare time, Felix is an avid footballer and keen musician playing the piano and cello, as well as the baritone saxophone for Cambridge Wind Band.
