Carolyn Rogers is a trainee patent attorney and a member of the Life Sciences team.

Carolyn joined Reddie & Grose in September 2021 after completing her doctoral studies at the University of Cambridge, where she worked at the intersection of immunology and nuclear dynamics. She studied the spatial arrangement of DNA within the nucleus of B lymphocytes using Hi-C techniques. Carolyn was particularly interested in the three dimensional folding of the immunoglobulin loci, critical for understanding how diverse antibody repertoires are achieved. During her PhD, Carolyn co-authored a review article and was involved in the preparation of a manuscript currently awaiting publication.

Prior to her PhD, Carolyn achieved a bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences, specialising in Biochemistry, also at the University of Cambridge. During this time, she completed two research placements, both in the field of epigenetics.

In her spare time, Carolyn enjoys swimming, baking and spending time with friends and family.
