Ally is a qualified UK and European patent attorney with experience in protecting inventions and designs, and advising clients on how to avoid patent infringement.
Time spent guiding a client through proceedings before the UK High Court and the UK Court of Appeal has given her a perspective on the value of a strong patent.
She has an academic background in materials science and engineering from Imperial College London, where she was awarded the Governor’s MEng prize in materials and the IOM3 RH Craven award. She has since worked with a range of innovators across different technical fields, and now regularly presents legal and technical arguments on behalf of clients, often applying her technical background.
Outside of work she enjoys following startups on crowdfunding sites, running, yoga, and finding new parks around London to walk her dog.
