In particular, Adam has experience in drafting new patent applications and prosecuting patent applications in Europe and around the world, predominantly in the US, China, Japan and Korea. He is also involved in a lot of contentious work including defending and attacking patents in EPO opposition and appeal proceedings, and advising on validity, infringement and freedom to operate issues.

Adam joined Reddie & Grose in September 2017 after graduating from the University of Bristol with a Master’s degree in Chemistry with Industrial Experience. Adam spent his year in industry at Merck working on the development of a novel liquid crystal display mode, culminating in him being named as co-inventor on a patent application. During his final year project at university, he was involved in the successful incorporation of a membrane gating procedure into an artificial cellular model.

Outside of work, Adam is an avid sportsman, with a particular love for rugby, football and fishing. He is also a keen traveller, having spent the summer before he started work exploring China.
