Nick joined the firm in 1999 and was made partner in 2005. Nick's practice encompasses the electrical, electronic and mechanical sectors, with a particular focus on computer software related inventions, telecommunications and electronics cases for clients in the UK and overseas. He has considerable experience of cases related to television broadcasting, audio and video protection signals, teleconferencing systems, mobile phone technology, business methods, and developments in computer programming, networks and systems.
A fluent Japanese speaker, Nick organises a Japanese conversation group with over 50 members and loves the food and culture. He enjoys novels by John Irving and Haruki Murakami.
