Steve joined the firm on 1st November,
2007 having previously been
a Partner in the Lloyd Wise group.
Steve handles a
wide range of patent and design matters for UK and overseas
clients, and has also handled trade mark cases both before the UK Trade Mark Registry
and before OHIM. Steve’s patent work
covers mechanical, electronic, software and business method cases. As well as drafting and prosecution work,
Steve has been actively involved in revocation actions before the UK Patent
Office, and has represented applicants before the Examination and Opposition
divisions and Boards of Appeal of the EPO, and in hearings before the UK Patent
Office - the latter primarily in connection with excluded matter objections.
Outside work,
Steve’s interests include photography and football. Steve is also a Member of the Magic Circle.
