Will joined the firm in July 2007 following return from a two and a quarter year engagement with AJ Park. Prior to his move to New Zealand, he completed his training with a London firm of patent agents.
Will advises clients on patents and design matters. He is proficient in most areas of physics and engineering and represents clients in a range of technologies, including software and business methods, microprocessors, smart card technology, wireless network technology, mass spectrometry, areospace technology, medical devices and generation of fuels from biomass. His clients range from individuals through to multi-national companies, based in Cambridge, elsewhere in the UK and overseas.
In addition to patent searching, drafting and prosecution worldwide, Will handles opposition and appeal hearings at the European Patent Office and at the UKIPO. He also advises on infringement and validity issues, and has experience of conducting freedom to operate searches.
His interests include running, cooking, playing football and spending time with his young family.

- Masters degree in Physics, Oxford University
